The Strap
Waterproof coated nylon — we call it TrailCoat. Six feet of it, and it doesn’t soak up mud, lake water, or the smell of either. Rinse it off, it’s clean.

The Carabiner
Auto-locking aluminum. It secures itself the moment it’s clipped — no second-guessing at the trailhead, the sidewalk, or the trunk of the car.

The D-Ring Handle
A steel D-ring built into the handle. Clip gear to it, tether them at the brewery, or clip the carabiner in and wear the leash cross-body when they’re off leash.

What if my dog chews it?
No leash is chew-proof, and we won't pretend ours is. It's built for dogs on the move, not dogs left alone with it. You've got 90 days to find out if it fits your life — free returns, we cover the shipping.
Will it hold a strong puller?
Yes. The strap has far more tensile strength than any dog will ever put through it, and the auto-locking carabiner won't pop open under load. We have customers walking 200 lb mastiffs on this leash.
What's the D-ring on the handle for?
Whatever you need it to be. Clip a waste-bag holder or light to it. Loop the leash around a post and clip the carabiner into it to tether. Or clip the carabiner in and wear the leash cross-body when your dog's off leash.
How do I clean it?
Rinse the strap under the tap — most stains lift with water. Stubborn stuff comes off with a drop of dish soap. Rinse the carabiner after the beach. That's it.

The Loma leash is ideal for all our outdoor adventures. Hiking in the mountains, walking around the neighborhood, chilling at a bewery, and more, this is the ideal leash. It is so easy to clean, which for any outdoor adventure dog is a must! I got the Camper Collar and Loma Leash in Orange as a set to try on my husky. The collar is amazing, the leash is also superb. The leash is standard length and so easy to keep clean. It doesn’t have a synthetic smell to it so it’s absolutely perfect. Both collar and leash are relatively budget friendly so for those who have active dogs like my husky, run do not walk to get these products. You and your dog will not regret getting them. We love this leash for playing in the park when the leash is dragging around in the wet snowy grass. It’s extremely sturdy and the clasp is heavy-duty. The only issue we have is that it’s almost too heavy & wide for our 19 lb dog. But it works great.

The waterproof leash is really great! My dog loves to play in the dirt and snow and water, my old leash was constantly dirty, hanging on to dog hair, dirt and always tying itself in knots. We are really loving this leash for trail training, it is durable and so easy to clean that I do not worry about it being dragged while we work on puppy recall. The clasp is a little tricky for my weak hands (have MS) but I know it keeps my pup safe.

As a long time dog owner, walker and professional in the animal welfare world I have held a lot of leashes and have to admit that I never though much of them or that they could be a higher quality until I was introduced to Howl House.
