Yes. The buckle locks harder the harder he pulls, the belt takes the load instead of your arm, and the carabiner locks itself. Customers walk 80-pound Bernese and Pyrenees on it. It's also built for the dog who's still learning: your hands are free for the treats and the corrections, and he's clipped to a person who isn't going anywhere.
The belt adjusts from 28 to 50 inches, narrow enough for a small waist and big enough over a puffy jacket. Wear it cross-body if you'd rather keep it off your hips. Questions on fit, email us.
